BlinkX has a long history with online video. Some historic watch pages still have references and backlinks across the web, but an old address alone is not enough reason to republish it.
A page returns only when it is useful
Before a historic URL returns a successful page, BlinkX verifies the subject, identifies media it is entitled to show and adds current context. Unverified addresses remain unavailable rather than becoming generic placeholders.
What a restored page contains
- The original video or a clearly identified lawful replacement, where available.
- An accurate description of what the viewer is seeing and why the page mattered.
- A visible publication or restoration date and a note explaining material changes.
- New reporting or context when the subject has developed since the original page appeared.
- A copyright and content-removal route for rights holders and people depicted.
This is a recovery program, not a promise that every historic URL returns. Quality, relevance and rights come first.
