First off, don't forget to pick up the Armory Key, as there are two items you can get with it during the next map (22). Note how I squeezed Milanor in after Durant finished his union (and note also that Durant purposefully lost against the magician to reset his REP). The enemy will almost always union Russell in against Milanor the following turn, allowing Milanor to steal Russell's Yashamaru. Why does it matter if you steal the Yashamaru or not? Well, in this case (** SPOILER **) it turns out that Russell's not all that bad. He only serves Gulcasa because his fiancee Flone is locked up and could be killed at the first sign of disobedience. Well, since that isn't the case anymore (assuming you beat Aegina in Map 20), Russell joins the party and brings whatever his current equipped item is. I personally prefer having the luxury of choosing which item to give to him at the start, so I purposefully take it away from him before he comes so I can give him what I want him to use. So you're aware, Map 23 is like Map 13 where there's an option to sneak through undetected, which is the option I'll be taking, so don't equip anything that lasts til that map because then it'll be wasted for 1 map. I didn't equip Milanor with anything this map specifically because I knew he'd go against Russell to drop his REP to 0. Since Russell has a lot of TEC, he WILL break Milanor's item, and I just didn't want anything to break (it gives Russell a +20% bonus to morale damage dealt as well). So, going up against Russell has a two-fold purpose: steal the weapon and lose REP. Items obtained: 1. Armory Key: use it to obtain two items in Map 22. After Map 22, you can use it to restore morale. 2. Yashamaru: GEN UP, ATK UP, TEC UP, LUK DOWN, Russell only, Heavy counter % up (so sometimes when he's charged, he'll counter and knock the enemy down to 1 unit instantly - pretty nice for later in the game!)
