X Factor gossip from Brian Friedman

X Factor creative director Brian Friedman is backing Cheryl Cole's song choices ahead of this weekend's show. Last Saturday Simon Cowell reduced the Girls Aloud star to tears after claiming she had not picked the right song for one of her contestants. Cheryl is looking after this year's boys, she has Joe McElderry and Lloyd Daniels still remaining in the competition. The theme this time is big band and Brian thinks that Cheryl has picked great tracks. Meanwhile the choreographer says John and Edward have another spectacular performance planned.
