Woburn Man, 33, Charged With Posing As Cop, Extortion

A Woburn man is being held on $100,000 bail for allegedly posing as a police officer, forcing his way into a Wakefield home, then extorting cash from the homeowner over several weeks. 33-year-old Richard Petrucci was removed from the courtroom during his arraignment in Malden District Court Wednesday morning, because he kept swearing at the prosecutor.
