FACTUAL FACTORY is a whole new way of looking at stock footage. (black & white) Army Air Forces Special Film Project 151- "Wings For This Man" Morning- 20 miles from the enemy- fighter patrol. Odds are bad this morning: 3 to 1. Americans from all walks of life have come to fight. Booker T. Washington found the Tuskegee Institute. This school was the first of its kind- dedicated to education and industry. Added flight school- combat and classes. After graduating the pilots go straight into combat but they pay a heavy price. Out of the first graduating class there is only a handful of pilots left. Factual Factory- Stock Footage, (black & white/no sound) Medal ceremony- interview with the medal recipiant. Village- food is rationed out by soldiers. Soldiers offer a young lady a cigarette. Italy- medical tent. Injured soldiers are visited by an officer who presents them with medals for their courage. Soldiers hover over a map spread out on the ground to discuss their next move. Military convoy moves through a decimated town. Soldiers warm up by a fire. Red cross ship comes into dock. Injured soldiers are taken aboard. Red cross train pulls into a station and injured soldiers come aboard. Their grand plan does not work- soldiers are busy hating Germans not each other. Team work is the key and our soldiers excelled at it.
