Whitney Houston has unveiled her new album to an audience of music industry insiders in London. I Look At You is the soul diva's first studio album in seven years and marks her comeback following a much-publicised addiction battle and marriage break-up from Bobby Brown in 2006. The 45-year-old was introduced at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel near Hyde Park by Clive Davis, the music mogul who first discovered her. She did not perform but did speak briefly, to gush about being in the UK. "I love London, it's one of my favourite places to come," she said. "You guys are always enthusiastic and you've always given me much love." Whitney - who has notched up over 170 million sales in her 24-year career - also said a few words about the new album: "It's about making the songs last in the hearts of the people and that's what we try to do with this album." She went on: "If you want to cry, you cry, if you want to laugh, you can laugh, if you want to dance, you can dance because that what's it all about." I Look At You, released on August 31, features collaborations with top stars including Alicia Keys and R Kelly.
