WEATHER: Floods across Central England: Clean-up operation underway

After the floods, the painstaking clear-up operation is now taking place. Families across the country went back into their homes for the first time today to assess the damage left in the wake of last weeks torrential downpours. In some areas a month's rain fell in just a few hours. Houses were evacutated, rivers burst their banks and streets were left underwater. Darfield in South Yorkshire was one of the worst affected areas.
