WEATHER: Flash floods in North Yorkshire

Thirty elderly people have been evacuated from flats in Filey in North Yorkshire after a roof collapsed when flash floods hit the seaside town leaving many streets under up to six feet of water. Fire services received over 80 calls for help as torrential rain and a high tide caused local rivers and streams to burst their banks.
