We Are One A Jonas Love Story Chapter 31 part 2 I kind of wanted this part to be more focused on Joe and Ema. So, you can understand their relationship a little better. Joe's POV ( Backward a few minutes ) I remembered what Nick had said about not showing Ema what she means to me. The more I thought about it, the more guilt I felt. I am sure she knows that I care for her. And I would show her how much she meant to me if we had more time away from everyone else's eyes. She came out of the bathroom, I didn't look up until she set her head on my shoulder. Her long brown hair tickled the back of my neck, I lied down backwards pulling her with me. She moved her head to my chest. We just lied there. I put my hand on her back and closed my eyes for a second. I loved being with her, having her with me made me feel powerful. She gave me an energy that made me feel happier, on top of the world. I smiled at this thought and took a deep breath, it sounded a little unsteady. Ema moved over, positioning herself so she could see my face, and I hers. I rolled a little so we were lying next to each other. I put my forehead to hers and closed my eyes again. I like everything about her, her sweet scent, the way her eyes sparkled when she laughs, the way she loves and values life! Everything about her is unique, I have never had a girlfriend like her, never meet a living soul like her. She truly is one of a kind. I opened my eyes to find her staring at me with the most spectacular look in her eyes, something I had never seen before. I couldn't stop my reaction and pressed my lips to hers without thinking. The corners of her mouth pulled into a smile, I knew she felt the same burning sensation when our lips meet as I did. As our lips moved together, all I could think about was us being together, nothing outside that door mattered anymore. An icy chill went down my spine as she placed her arms around my neck. I put my hands on her waist , everywhere our skin touched, it burned. She pulled away a few seconds later and put her forehead to mine again, she smiled angelically, then sat up. I waited a moment then also sat up. (You wanna watch a movie?) I nodded my head yes then said, (Yea, put something scary in and I'll go get changed.) I said already to the door. When I came back, she was already wrapped up in her blankets with the remote in her hand, (Come on, or are you too scared?) She said with a smile that made my heart skip a beat. I walked over and got in her bed, lying on top of the sheets, under the comforter. She pushed play once I was settled in and put her head on my chest again. We watched the movie for about an hour. Ema moved her face into my chest when a really terrifying part came on. (Do you want to go horse back riding on the beach when Kevin and Nick leave? ) I asked her, hoping to distract her from the movie and make plans for the weekend, at the same time!! When she said she would love to. I don't know why, even though I knew she would say yes, y heart started pounding before she answered. We continued the rest of the movie in silence until we both fell asleep, I snore pretty loud, or so I've been told. Sorry it's so short! That was part 2 so it was whatever I couldn't fit in part one.
