Washington Capitals vs. Calgary Flames: THE OVECHKAM

The Ovechkam is a camera that follows Ovechkin throughout an entire Washington Capitals game whether Ovechkin is skating on the ice or is sitting at the Caps bench. On March 12, 2008, Comcast Sports Network Plus (CSN+) decided to display the Ovechkam for the entire Capitals/Flames game to let viewers at home check out a close up of Ovechkin during a typical hockey game. In this particular hockey game, Ovechkin scored goals 55 and 56. Ovechkin could have scored goal 57 if it weren't for Dion Phaneuf at the end of the game. Nevertheless, I found this interesting and wanted to share it with you guys in case you guys never saw what the Ovechkam looked like.
