Wall Street finds firm footing

Aug. 2 - In a late day rally strong second quarter earnings lifted US stocks. Viacom and CVS both posted second quarter results ahead of Wall Street estimates. The Dow added 100.96 points to close at 13,463.33. The S&P 500 gained 6.39 points to close at 1,472.20. The Nasdaq rose 22.82 points to close at 2,575.98. Diane King reports from New York.
