Visions of Tengpoche in the Khumbu Valley, Nepal

Visions of Tengpoche and the surrounding Himalaya during a lay over in September 2004. The Tengpoche Monastery is considered to be the most most active in the Khumba valley. The monastery complex includes an extensive library and teaching facility for monks and scholars. Morning meditation is signaled with cymbals at day break. During our stay, a helicopter fly in with a very wealthy individual who jumped out with offerings for the Abbot of the Monastery.
