USA: At least four people reported dead in an explosion at a gas station in United States.

At least four people were reported dead in an explosion at a gas station near the Winterplace ski resort in West Virginia. At least four people died after a massive explosion in rural convenience store on Tuesday (January 30). Nine people were seriously injured including a firefighter and a paramedic in the blast in Ghent, in the West Virginia levels. Officials were unsure as to the cause of the explosion, but State Fire Marshall, Sterling Lewis said a gas leak had been reported and the explosion happened just as a fire truck pulled up at the scene. At least three fire departments, 15 ambulances, officials with county and state police, the division of highways and regional response teams were dispatched to the scene. The West Virginia fire marshal's office and the bureau of alcohol tobacco and firearms were continuing an investigation into the cause of the explosion. was/jrc
