Actor Tom Cruise, wife Katie Holmes, and Will and Jada Pinkett Smith threw a party in downtown Los Angeles for David and Victoria Beckham on Sunday (July 22) night. The exclusive affair was held at the Geffen Contemporary art museum. Some 600 invitations were sent out to what has been described as "Hollywood A-Listers" early last week. Holmes and Pinkett Smith worked together to organize the event. And, Cruise flew in from Germany to attend. He is in Europe shooting his latest film, the World War II drama, "Valkyrie." Some of the hottest stars in town showed up to join in the fun. Guests included Stevie Wonder, Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher, Bruce Willis, Jim Carey, Brooke Shields, Eva Longoria, Vivica A. Fox, Wesley Snipes, Ron Howard, Brian Grazer, Matthew Perry, Lil' Kim, Stevie Wonder, Jon Voight, Serena Williams and members of the L.A. Galaxy soccer team. When asked why she was there celebrating, Rita Hanks smiled, "We're being good hosts, welcoming our new neighbors."
