Eight years in the making, Sir Paul McCartney's latest classical album, 'Ecce Cor Meum' premiered at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Friday (November 3). Chilly temperatures didn't prevent fans from lining up to catch a glimpse of the singer/composer but only his daughter, designer Stella McCartney made an appearance for the public and the media. 'Ecce Cor Meum', which is Latin for Behold My Heart, is McCartney's fourth classical album and is a work for chorus and orchestra in four movements. Conducted by Gavin Greenway, the album was performed by the same cast on the studio recording - Kate Royal (soprano), Academy of St Martins In The Fields Orchestra, London Voices, Boys Of Magdalen College Choir from Oxford and Boys of King's College Choir from Cambridge. Speaking to a sold-out audience, McCartney thanked the cast for bringing his vision to life on stage. "I just feel so privilege to be amongst this great musicians, who have done such a fantastic job tonight." Although currently embroiled in a very public divorce with his estranged wife, Heather Mill McCartney, the former Beatle made no reference to his personal life. "II have so many wonderful people, members of my family, my friends from forever, such wonderful people in the audience tonight that I want to thank from the bottom of my heart. Beautiful people."
