today Una Corda-The Irish/Cuban Piano Project, and last year, Una Corda in conjunction with the Havana Arts Authority and the Cuban Ministry of Culture -was given the responsibility of restoring and re-equipping the National Workshop. This work will be ongoing, and will run in tandem with the training programme to ensure that Cuba will have the facilities and personell to ensure that the next Ruben Gonzales or Chucho Valdes will be playing in tune!
