Italian coach Roberto Donadoni is pleased with his side's 2-1 win over Ukraine in Kiev but Ukraine's Oleg Blokhin is worried about his defence. Antonio Di Natale scored twice to power Italy to a 2-1 win over Ukraine in their Euro 2008 Group B qualifier on Wednesday (September 12) as the world champions stayed on track for next year's finals. They are second in their group, one point behind leaders Scotland and one ahead of their World Cup final opponents France. After the game Italy coach Roberto Donadoni paid tribute to Ukraine and was happy at his team surviving what he described as "dangerous moments". Ukraine coach Oleg Blokhin bemoaned a national failing in defending. "The problem the national team has with defence is not only our problem. It is a problem all our clubs have, Dynamo, Shakhtar, and other leading clubs. It's a problem for Ukrainian football in general. We are trying to cope with it somehow," he said.
