TRANSPORT: Metronet workers urge Prime Minister to put Metronet contracts into public sector

Workers from the collapsed Tube maintenance firm Metronet went to Downing Street today, to urge the Prime Minister to put its contracts into the public sector. Metronet was responsible for upgrades on two-thirds of the network. Metronet has now gone into administration, unable to cope with cost overruns.
