Toxic chemical traces have been found in contaminated fake Sensodyne toothpaste sold in Britain. The affected products, 50 millilitre tubes falsely branded as Sensodyne Original and Mint, were sold at markets and car boot sales, but not in shops. They contain toxic levels of diethylene glycol, which can be damaging to young children and anyone with impaired liver or kidney functions. The affected tubes are in packaging written in English and Arabic.
