Top Islamic Jihad Commander Nabbed By IDF In Bethlehem Operation

Top Islamic Jihad commander Mohammed Isa Halil Abeda was nabbed by Israeli security forces during a joitn operation conducted by the IDF, Border Police and Shin Bet in Bethlehem on Monday. Abeda was involved in planning and funding terror attacks against Israel. During the operation scores of Palestinian youth threw stones at troops who responded with rubber bullets and tear gas. Palestinians later reported that a Palestinian teenager was killed and several others wounded.01/29/08
