Hundreds of fans braved the cold in London's Leicester Square to catch a glimpse and maybe even meet Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise as he premiered his latest movie Valkyrie. In true Cruise style the actor arrived two hours before the film was due to begin so that he could work his way around the crowd, signing autographs and having his photo taken with fans. Cruise said the walk was a cold one: "When I get to the end here I think I'm gonna grab a coat, scarf and gloves. I did not anticipate how chilly it was going to be." Cruise was joined by his wife Katie Holmes for the UK premiere which is the second stop on the films European promotional tour. He said: "She was with me in Berlin last night and she's here with me now, it's nice." Based on true events, Valkyrie tells the story of Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg (Cruise), who plots to assassinate Hitler and overthrow his Nazi government.
