The Titanic Sinks - Cronkite Remembers
On April 14, 1912, just before midnight, the ocean liner 'Titanic' hit an iceberg in the Atlantic Ocean. The Titanic sank on April 15th and sent over 1500 people to an icy death. It took 2 hours and 45 minutes for the Titanic to sink.
