The Seals Get A Little Help From Paul McCartney
This is a video of former Beatle Paul McCartney and his former wife Heather Mills, pleading for the Canadian government to stop the annual baby harp seal slaughter in 2006. God bless his wonderful soul. The Canadian government and Newfoundland fisherman were very upset at this because he posed for a photograph with a newborn whitecoat seal pup. They said "this sends the wrong image of our seal hunt (slaughter) to the world" "we no longer kill baby seals anymore!" The fact is; is that this newborn whitecoat baby harp seal will begin to molt its fluffy white fur as early as 12 days of age. Then it is legal for a sealer to bash in its egg shell thin skull with a spiked club. The Canadian baby seal slaughter is a crime against nature and the environment and a completely unacceptable injustice against animals. Please help to stop it.
