the knott swindon based band filmed by mark newson www.theknott.co.uk The Knott are a 4-piece Indie/Rock band hailing from Swindon in Wiltshire. Formed in the early spring of 2006 by ex-"The Silent Getaway" front-man & singer-songwriter, Lee "Large It" Knott and Andy Dickinson (Lead/Rhythm Guitars). Matt Keeble joined in April to provide a solid bass guitar. The Knott are still looking for a full-time drummer but have been helped out along the way so far by Sam Bailey (who appears on the Why Knott? EP) and James Eddings (who appears on the latest recording of "Politics For Lunch" which was re-recorded in August 2006 specially for radio airplay!) Powered by the love of music and the emotions performing brings, The Knott are an original, emotional and passionate band trying to get a message across with their music.
