The Departed

Martin Scorsese's superb remake of the Hong Kong crime thriller "Infernal Affairs" chronicles the deadly cat-and-mouse game that erupts between a rookie state cop (Leonardo DiCaprio) on an undercover assignment to infiltrate South Boston's most feared organized crime operation and the Special Investigations Unit officer (Matt Damon) on the mob's payroll charged with exposing the informant in their midst.
