Dana Ward from http://www.GamblersTelevision.com Hello College Football fans from our Rockstar studio this is Dana Ward here with our College Football Quick Hitter for the sports betting public. There is a new #1 team in College Football this week. The Texas Longhorns off their 45-35 victory in the Red River Rivalry over Oklahoma sit atop the polls this week. But will it be short lived? Chase Daniel and the #11 ranked Missouri Tigers are in Austin to face the Longhorns this week looking for the upset. Missouri has an explosive offense led by their senior quarterback Daniel who has passed for 16 TDs and only 4 interceptions on the season. Gametime is set for 8PM Eastern with ABC providing national coverage. #1 Texas is a 7-point favorite. The Alabama Crimson Tide currently sit at #2 in the nation as they host the Ole Miss Rebels Saturday at 3:30PM Eastern on CBS. Mississippi has an upset early on the road in SEC play as they knocked off Tim Tebow and the Florida Gators 31-30 back on September 27th. The Tide is led on the ground by running back Glen Coffee who is averaging 118 yards per game. Coffee is coming off a career high 218 yards rushing in his last game against Kentucky. For Ole Miss to pull off the upset they will have to keep from turning over the ball as the Rebels have committed 15 turnovers on the season. The early money in the betting has been on the underdog Ole Miss as Alabama has fallen from a 15 point to currently a 13-point favorite. The #4 ranked Oklahoma Sooners look to bounce back off their loss against Texas last week as they host the #16 Kansas Jayhawks. This Big 12 Conference game will feature two outstanding quarterbacks. Sooner signal caller Sam Bradford is coming off a game where he threw for 5 TDs and 387 yards last week against Texas. On the other side Jayhawk quarterback Todd Reesing has been outstanding this season averaging 330 yards passing per game. If you like offense you will like this one as experts predict plenty of scoring. ABC provides regional coverage at 3:30PM Eastern Time. Oklahoma currently sits as an 18-point favorite. That will do it for todays College Football report.
