(Scot Yount, NECN: Boston, Mass.) - Roughly 25,000 runners participated in the Boston Marathon on Patriot's Day. The runners left Hopkinton, Massachusetts Monday morning for the 26.2 mile run to Boston's Back Bay. It was the biggest field of runners since 1996. It sometimes takes external inspiration to help a marathon runner battle through the pain and get to the finish line. NECN's Scot Yount shows us the special relationship between a child and her teacher.
