Tanker fire shuts down I-95 north in Conn.
FAIRFIELD, Conn. (AP) - A tanker truck fire has forced authorities to close all northbound lanes of Interstate 95 in Fairfield. Authorities say the truck was carrying methanol and was traveling through Westport when it caught fire at about 4:30 a.m. The state Department of Transportation said it would take up to four hours to clear the scene.
