Tall Ships sail into Boston Harbor
(NECN: Kristen Caira, Boston, Mass.) - The Tall Ships began to arrive in Boston Harbor this morning. Later this week the public will be able to tour the ships. Organizers say 12 of the sailing vessels will be open for public tours Thursday through Sunday at Charlestown Navy Yard, the Boston Fish Pier and Seaport World Trade Center. Other ships plan to dock privately. The 45 ships, participating in the Tall Ships Atlantic Challenge, come from 17 different countries and will leave for Halifax, Nova Scotia, after their time in Boston. read more
