Support the Palestinians!

Show your support for your own humanity and your own human rights, by supporting the palestinian cause. As long as anyone is oppressed, no one is truly free. This is a battle against oppression, it's not a perfect battle, the palestinians aren't a perfect people, and there's no way you could ever find a society that doesn't have violent people in it, but as Ali Abunimah put it, the palestinians have been sinned against far more than they have sinned. The recent slaughter in Gaza is a perfect illustration of this, where israel broke the ceasefire and then killed over 100 palestinians for every israeli who died because of the home made rocket fire coming out of the blockaded and constantly bombarded prison camp which is Gaza. It would be shocking if we even gave equal time to the opinions of people the entire international community regards as war criminals in our media, but the fact that we only talk to the war criminals, and completely ignore and even demonize their victims is, well, so far beyond the pale, that I really don't know what to say about it. It's almost as if our media (during WWII) has been taken over by the Nazi Party, and we had to constantly watch Joseph Gerbils lie through his teeth and demonize the innocent jews he was helping to slaughter, even as his hands were still stained with their blood. What is there to say? How can words express the outrage, the evil, that we are witnessing, and if we are silent, participating in?
