***WATCH THE HD VERSION FOR BEST PICTURE AND STEREO SOUND!*** Re-upping some of my old faves in higher quality, to show them as nicely as possible in the new YouTube video viewer... Note that this video was originally 4x3 aspect ratio, and has been optimized for widescreen monitors. As such, it may be displayed incorrectly when viewing fullscreen on a 4x3 monitor. Originally uploaded June 12, 2006. At long last, you can see just how god-awful the bluescreening really was in this one. This is the one and only time I ever did chroma-key in Ulead VideoStudio. Now it's After Effects all the way, baby! Just compare the quality of the keying in THIS to the keying in Secret of the Pyramid, and you'll see what I mean. Like night and day. This was featured on YouTube's front page in July, 2007 (Thanks yet again, Psychomelody). And people REALLY didn't know what to make of it. Some loved it, some hated it with a passion. Some thought it was absolutely hilarious, others thought it was absolute crap. If you go to the original post, you'll see it's currently rated at an astonishing 3 stars. Wow. People just have no sense of humor or appreciation for two guys simply cutting loose and having some FUN with digital effects. Oh well, it will always be a fave of mine, and I learned a LOT making it. The original description: Guy 2 has FOUND Guy 1! In his quest to find his cohort, it finally occurred to Ben to check Guy 1's house. And sure enough, that's where he was this whole time. Apparently, Guy 1 was contenting himself with life simply as "Sean," making Video Blogs and other random nonsense for the internet. Ben soon puts him back on track, both of them leaping headfirst into the SUPER MEGA TRANSFORMATION that boosts their powers and metamorphoses them into...Guy 1 and Guy 2 - THE TWO GUYS!!! (NOTE FOR THE IMPATIENT: This isn't a blog, despite what you may think from the first part. Watch past the first 35 seconds. You'll be quite pleasantly surprised, I think!) Behind-the-scenes notes: Made over the course of 3 weeks with a budget of about 200 dollars (half of which went into the bluescreen), effects and editing done using off-the-shelf editing software, and original music by Zaranyzerak.
