Sunday Satsang 10/26/2008: Pastimes of Lord Caitanya

These stories are narrated in Śrī Caitanya-bhāgavata by Śrīla Vṛndāvana dāsa Ṭhākur. The point is that the actual goal of devotional service is the ecstasy of spontaneous love; not just dry philosophy or monotonous ritual, but real ecstatic love of Godhead. Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu demonstrated that love in His pastimes, and that is the real criterion of guru.
