SUDAN: Appeal Court stops government plans to send back three Darfui asylum-seekers

The Government's plans to send back three Darfuri asylum-seekers to the Sudanese capital have been stopped by the Appeal Court in a decision which could secure refugee status for up to a thousand other Darfuris in the UK. Ruling on the case, the judges said deporting the men to squatter camps in Khartoum was 'unduly harsh'. And they refused the Home Secretary leave to appeal.
