Stephen Gately's bandmates pay respect to their 'brother'
Stephen Gately's Boyzone bandmates have had tattoos done to mark his death. The new tattoo was just visible on Ronan Keating's arm at a brief press conference at Majorca's Palma Airport, before the group members left for Dublin. As the visibly upset singer spoke, the numbers "76 09" were apparent beneath his T-shirt sleeve. They correspond to the years of Gately's birth and death. Each of the band members - Shane Lynch, Keith Duffy and Mikey Graham - is understood to have had a memorial tattoo to their former colleague. Lynch is already known for his heavily-tattooed physique. The band flew to the island on Thursday, in preparation to escort the casket to Dublin. Gately's remains will arrive in Dublin and be taken to Jennings funeral home, close to where he grew up in Canon Lillis Avenue, where his family will see him for the first time since his sudden death. Thousands are expected to attend his funeral on Saturday afternoon.
