Spike Lee was born in Atlanta and grew up in Brooklyn, the son of a jazz musician and art teacher. His road to the top has been an amazing on, it all started with "She's Gotta Have It" 1986, since then he's followed up with "Do The Right Thing", "Jungle Fever", "Malcolm X", "Inside Man" and more. His films have dealt with race, politics, wealth and with his latest, "Miracle at St. Anna" - war.
