SPACE: Shuttle Atlantis safe touchdown in Florida

The shuttle, Atlantis, touched down safely in Florida, following its 12 day mission to complete work on the International Space Station. At just before half past 11 this morning, it glided safely into the Kennedy Space Centre with 6 crew on board. A landing scheduled for yesterday had to be cancelled after some objects, that may have come off the shuttle were seen flying around it. NASA will have to fly at least 14 more missions in the next 4 years if the International Space Station is to be finished before the scheduled end of the space shuttle programme.
