SOUTH KOREA: Relations strained following North Korean nuclear test

The United States says samples of air taken near North Korea have so far found no evidence of radiation - four days after the government in Pyongyang proclaimed it had carried out an underground nuclear test. But US officials say they still can't say for definite it wasn't a nuclear device. And whatever the blast's status - it's already damaged confidence in the South Korean government's so called "Sunshine Policy" policy of engagement with its northern neighbour.
