First Night Boston festivities are going on as scheduled, despite today's snow and frigid temperatures now in place. The snow left New England just in time, clearing the region by about 6pm, giving highway crews a chance to clean up the roads and get things moving again. Many drivers this afternoon faced slow-going. Even though the snow has gone, many have decided to spend this New Year's Eve indoors. read more
