Singer leads green campaign

Radiohead singer Thom Yorke has urged Government ministers to go green. He wants a Climate Change Bill included in the Queen's Speech and he is taking part in The Big Ask, a climate campaign led by Friends of the Earth.Thom spoke to Dr Evan Harris, Liberal Democrat MP for West Oxford and Abingdon, who agreed to write to Tony Blair and the Environment Minister David Milliband outlining the case for a climate change law.Thom said: "As individuals there is a tendency to feel powerless when confronted with big issues such as climate change. But there is something we can all do."By writing to or visiting our MP we can make sure our voices are heard. That's why I've asked my MP to write to Tony Blair about the need for a climate change law that would commit the UK to making annual reductions in its carbon dioxide emissions."
