Sheridan Smith stars in Legally Blonde: The Musical

Star of Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, Sheridan Smith, is to play Elle Woods in the stage and musical version of cult movie Legally Blonde. She will star opposite Duncan James in the role that made Reese Witherspoon a comedy name in Hollywood. With the addition of new show tunes the musical was originally launched on Broadway and now will have a stint in the West End. Other well known faces appear in the cast. Former Dr Who and All Creatures Great and Small actor Peter Davidson plays Elle's Harvard Professor and former Eastender and recent Calendar Girl, Jill Halfpenny, also appears.
