Video to show sharp contrast between a rare day of blue sky, and what the sky normally looks like in Hendersonville, NC. But then, around 2 p.m., (after no planes or trails the entire day); the cavalry came out all at once and covered the sky with white crap in 1 1/2 hour's time. Sky went from blue, to sudden heavy coverage in just the amount of time it took me to do grocery shopping, and then total coverage in 1 1/2 hour. The main point I am trying to make to people new to this is that when the sky is blue for most of the day, or all day, it does not mean the airport is closed because what we are getting are military planes. There have been days when there was nothing the entire day and then after dark, the cavalry of military jets would come out and I'll not be able to look out the window at 9:15 p.m., or 9:45 p.m., or 10:30 p.m. or 11:15 p.m. or after midnight and not see two to three planes at the very very moment I look out--no matter which window I look out. Passenger plane traffic is not that heavy at night and passenger planes don't fly close to each other.
