
ORANGE, Mass. (AP) - Authorities are searching the Millers River in Orange for an 11-year-old girl who was reported missing after playing near the river with other children and slipping into the water. Police said the child fell into the river Sunday night. The fire and police departments, as well as the Northfield Dive Team and the State Police Air Wing searched that night and again Monday. Neighbors said the girl's brother tried to reach her, but also fell in. He got out, but the girl got swept away. The child's name has not been released. read more
