The Saudi Arabian National soccer team continue with their intensive training ahead of the participation in the Gulf Cup next week. During a training session on Saturday (January 13), the Saudi National team soccer coach, the Brazilian Marcos Paqueta, said that he positive that his team will do well in the upcoming tournament after a number of successful friendly matches including one against Syria. "Our camp, it is a very good camp and I see many young players and we played two strong games, one against Gambia for the top players in Europe. We had a good result, and another game against Syria," said Paqueta. "I wish very good for the players and I hope that the players do everything good in the next gulf cup." Saudi Arabia is in the Arabian Gulf and so the tournament means a lot to the country's residents and this is something that is reflected by the players in the national team. "Our collective work produced good results and the player's quality helped with that," said soccer player Yaser al-Kahtany. Saudi Arabia are in Group B alongside Iraq, Qatar and Bahrain. The Gulf Cup will be held in Abu Dhabi from January 17-30.
