S.W.A.T., "Any Second Now"

S.W.A.T., "Any Second Now"

Time bombs are planted throughout a radio station by a group demanding the release of a mass killer and S.W.A.T. has two hours to devise a plan to rescue several hostages and dispose of the bombs in "Any Second Now." Militant leader Edward Stillman has designed a plan to free his brother, convicted of killing six people, from prison. He places highly sophisticated time bombs throughout a radio station, takes the staff as hostages and goes on the air to demand his brother's immediate release. Stillman ironically blows up the stairwell and elevator -- his only avenue of escape -- when police try to use them. Hondo and the S.W.A.T. team manage to get old friend Lt. Johnson, a demolitions expert, up near the final timed device. But Lt. Johnson is spotted by the gang and shot -- leaving captors, captives and S.W.A.T. stranded with the bomb set to explode and no way down.
