Rutgers Newark commemorates takeover of Conklin Hall

Students, faculty, and the rest of the Rutgers Newark campus held a commemoration of the 1969 student takeover of Conklin Hall on Tuesday. Former students who held the protest were on hand to talk about the takeover protesting the lack of minority students on campus. Since 1969 Rutgers-Newark has become the most diverse college campus in the nation. (Video by John O'Boyle/The Star-Ledger)
