http://www.airamerica.com - The New York Times today tells us there is "global outrage" in response to Pope Benedict XVI's "rehabilitation" of schismatic Bishop Richard Williamson, a British bishop who denies the existence of Nazi gas chambers. That denial was not why he was excommunicated, though. Heck, they didn't even excommunicate Hitler. Williamson and a few others split with the Vatican because they werewait for ittoo liberal!!! Now the Pope has revoked the excommunication as a means of healing the schism, and people are said to be furious that a Holocaust denier has been rehabilitated by a Pope who, was, well, himself a Nazi. Who cares? These people believe in virgins giving birth, life after death, and beaming thoughts to a guy who has been dead for two thousand years who then reads those thoughts and acts on them. Evidence is not their strong suit. Should it really be a shock that one of them doesnt believe in the Holocaust? No one is forced to be a Catholic or to go to church. Let these people believe in whatever crazy stuff they want, stop paying attention to them, and move on.
