Plot synopsis (Continuation of clip II) Spoilers A rainy night Ito finds Jim Quanquenbush's grave and both, Buck and Ito, gets drunk with "Jim's body". During the storm, the water felt drags the wagon where Fifí and Laurie sleep and Laurie dies. The next day the trip continues. The women face the last big obstacle on their way to California: the desert. They must leave their belongings on the road in order to unload the weight of the wagons owing to the risk of sinking at some point of the terrain. Rose goes into labor during the crossing...
