Thank you for watching the demonstration of RFID jewellery management system. We are Hong Kong RFID Ltd. A typical RFID system consists of a PC, a RFID Reader, an Antenna, and RFID tags that attached to each jewellery item. In this demonstration, the set up uses a reader that supports 4 antenna, each antenna were placed upside down to let you see the simple antenna structure clearly. Typically, jewellery management system uses barcodes to read the tags one by one. But with RFID, over hundreds of tag can be read simultaneously if the tags is on the antenna which can be hidden under table or shelf. There are 100 tags evenly placed on the antenna, each tags has already its own ID number, with this demonstration program, the number of tag and their ID can be shown within 1 sec. The ID also offers rewritable memory storage space for price or product information. Since each reader can support up to 4 antenna, we distributed all together 250 tags in these 4 antenna, to make it looks like retail shop situation. The antenna can be installed under the table or underneath trays, for LESS intrusive looking. Since the tag is so small that we can offer various encapsulations, such as soft plastic straps or hard rubber hang tag using PVC or PET materials. This time, we are reading 250 tags at the same time. In fact the reader keep going on reading, so this the system can integrate with security systems like Alarms or Surveillance Camera, to prevent unauthorized access of the jewellery. Now that there are 250 tags were detected. There are other forms of antenna for retail, exhibition and warehouse application. The tags are reusable and can be tailor-made as your distinctive and elegant design. To help you explore the potential of RFID in jewellery management, we offer RFID Startup kit package, which include all that the components that you need to build up your own system and integrate into your ERP system smoothly.
