Red Wolf Pup Insertion at Alligator River NWR

Red wolf conservationists completed a successful experiment where captive-born red wolf pups were "inserted" into a wild-born pack. The female red wolf accepted the new pups into her litter, giving conservatinists hope that this will be a useful method for expanding the wild population's numbers and genetic diversity.
