As a 12 seed Utah State comes into San Diego to face the 5 seed Washington Huskies, they enter holding a 5-2 all-time series lead and having won the last three games between the two teams. For the Huskies, their tournament hopes will rest on the shoulders of conference player of the year Brandon Roy. As a senior, Roy has been at the top of the offensive stats not only for the team but in the Pac-10. The Aggies, who finished second in the WAC, will look to climb through their bracket with the help of senior forward Nate Harris. Most of the players in Thursday's game were just picking up a basketball for the first time the last time these teams met in the 1986 Great Alaska Shootout - a nine point Aggie victory.
